What changed

  • tolerate Git temporary child directories disappearing during bounded fetch measurement
  • preserve the stable final size measurement and all existing resource limits
  • add a deterministic regression test for the directory-removal race

Verification

  • trusted public-intake suite: 217 passed, 1 expected platform skip
  • builder skill suite: 735 passed, 1 expected platform skip
  • portable and installed skill verification passed
  • documentation links and diff checks passed

This fixes the post-merge-only false failure observed on main after #56.
